The Q'ewar Project

The Q’ewar Project, a social work initiative begun in early 2002, is situated in the rural highlands of the Andes Mountains in Peru.

Working with the indigenous women of the Q’ewar Community in Andahuaylillas, the Project is engaged in creating an atmosphere which fosters self-esteem, personal growth and a way to gain economic independence through learning skills in a humane and respectful working environment.

The purpose of PAMS is to unite all Peruvian physicians practicing in the United States and other professionals interested in helping Peru. PAMS objective is to improve the medical relationships between our country, Peru, and our adopted country, the United States, to help improve medical education for Peruvian medical schools and to provide help to Peruvian hospitals and indigent patients with donations and Medical Missions.
